                            When the matter is taken up for hearing today, none appeared for the

                      petitioner.



                            2. The Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side)

                      appearing for the first respondent/Police submitted that the petitioner is

                      acquitted from all the charges vide judgment, in C.C.No.1288 of 2011, dated

                      28.02.2020, passed by the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai,

                      and in this regard, he also produced a copy of the Daily Status report.



                            3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government

                      Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed as nothing

                      survives for adjudication in this case. Consequently, connected miscellaneous

                      petition is closed.
