                                   Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of
                     India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the
                     respondents to disburse the market value of the 622 quintals of sugar
                     together with interest from date of seizure till date of disbursement of the
                     said market value to the petitioner by taking note of reported judgment of
                     this Court made in AIR 1998 Mad 22.

The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, made a

entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition.

2. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of as

infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently,

connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
