                PRAYER : Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act,
                1971, to punish the respondent for non-compliance of the order of this Hon'ble Court
                in Crl.OP.No.25543 of 2017 dated 21.06.2019.

                                                             ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for

non-compliance of the order of this Court made in Crl.OP.No.25543 of 2017 dated

21.06.2019.

2.Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 08.11.2021, a report has

been received from the learned Metropolitan Magistrate dated 24.11.2021, wherein,

it is stated that the case has been splip up as against A-4 and A-6 and a new case

number has been assigned as C.C.No.8331/2021. It is further stated that the matter

was posted on 20.11.2021 for framing of charges. The charges were framed and

summons was issued to LW-1 to LW-3 for evidence on 23.11.2021. PW-1 and PW-2

were examined and fresh summon has been sent to LW-3 to LW-5 and the matter is

posted for hearing on 30.12.2021. In the meantime, the de facto complainant has

also filed a petition under Section 301 of Cr.P.C., in Crl.MP. No.26093 of 2021,

seeking for permission to assist the prosecution.

3.In view of the above, this contempt petition is disposed with a direction

to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate CBCID Metro Cases, Egmore, Chennai, to

complete the trail and pass final judgment within a period of three months.
