call for the records in S.T.C.No.1024 of 2017 on the file of the learned

ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to call
for the records in S.T.C.No.1024 of 2017 on the file of the learned
Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai and quash the same.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned
counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate
(Criminal Side) would submit that the trial Court after conducting the
trial, had acquitted the accused and the learned Government Advocate
(Criminal Side) has also produced a copy of the judgment passed in
S.T.C.No.1024 of 2017 dated 11.08.2021 and whereunder, the learned
Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai has pronounced the judgment,
acquitting the accused under Section 255(1) Cr.P.C. and hence, nothing
survives for further adjudication.
3.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is
dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous
petitions are closed.
