                     PRAYER: This Criminal Appeal is filed under Section 378 of Code of
                     Criminal Procedure, to set aside the order of acquittal, dated 27.04.2007
                     in C.C.No.289/2006, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I,
                     Nagercoil and to convict the respondent/accused for the charges framed
                     against him in the interest of justice.

                                                    JUDGMENT

Today, when the Criminal Appeal is came up for hearing, the

learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing on behalf of the

appellant appeared before this Court and made a submission that the

respondent/accused died on 11.06.2021. In order to substantiate the

same, he has produced the copy of the death certificate issued by the

Nagercoil Corporation.

2. The said submission made by the learned Government Advocate

(Crl.side) is recorded.

3. In view of the same, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as

abated.
