Petitioners have filed this petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India challenging order dated 20.02.2020, contained in Annexure P/5.
Counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that Commissioner had
committed an error of law in ignoring judgment and decree contained in Annexure P/3. By said judgment, in appeal, decree passed in civil suit was set aside. Therefore, Commissioner could not have passed order of mutation in favour of the respondents.
None appears for respondents.
Considering the arguments made by counsel for the petitioners, parties are directed to maintain status quo and not to create any third party interest over the property in question.
