Heard on I.A. No.8274 of 2023, an application for temporary suspension
of sentence and grant of bail moved on behalf of appellant No.1-Rajnarayan.
Appellant No.1-Rajnarayan stood convicted under Sections 147, 148,
302/149 and 307/149 (three counts) IPC and sentenced to undergo RI for six
months with a fine of Rs.500/-, RI for one year with a fine of Rs.500/-,
imprisonment for life with a fine of Rs.5,000/- and RI for ten years with a fine
of Rs.2,000/- (each count), with default stipulations vide judgment of conviction
and order of sentence dated 05.12.2022 passed by I Additional Sessions Judge,
Gohad, District Bhind (M.P.) in ST No.100106/2016.
Learned counsel for the appellants submits that appellant No.1-
Rajnarayan is 77 years of age and is suffering from Renal Cancer. He further
submits that vide order dated 01.03.2023 (IA.No.3050 of 2023) the present
appellant was extended the benefit of temporary suspension of sentence on
medical ground for three months which period is going to expire on 30.05.2023.
Relying upon the treatment papers annexed along with the instant application,
learned counsel for the appellants submits that the condition of appellant No.1-
Rajnarayan is still not good and needs intense medical intervention. Thus, he
submits that the period of temporary suspension granted on earlier occasion
may be extended for a further period of six months.

Learned Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent/State
does not dispute the aforesaid position.
For the reasons stated in the application, interim bail granted vide order dated 01/03/2023, period of which is going to expire on 30.05.2023, is extended by a further period of six months on the same terms and conditions enumerated in the order dated 01/03/2023. Appellant No.1-Rajnarayan is directed to surrender before the Trial Court immediately after expiry of extended period of six months and submit all the papers pertaining to the treatment administered.
The Trial Court is directed to send the report of surrender by the appellant.
I.A. No.8274 of 2023 stands disposed of.
List this appeal immediately after extended period of six months.
