This appeal has been preferred under Section 374 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 06.06.2014 passed by II Additional Sessions Judge, District Guna (M.P.) in Sessions Trial No.300/2012; whereby, the appellant has been convicted under Section 395 IPC and sentenced to undergo imprisonment for life with a fine of Rs.50,000/- and convicted under Section 395 read with Signature Not Verified Signed by: PAWAN DHARKAR Signing time: 6/14/2023 8:13:40 PM

Section 120B IPC and sentenced to undergo RI for 10 years with a fine of Rs.1,000/- with default stipulations.

IA.No.10311 of 2023 along with the forwarding letter of Superintendent, Central Jail, Gwalior (M.P.) No.398/Vidhi/2023, dated 12.06.2023 is taken up for consideration.

By the aforesaid application, the appellant prays for withdrawal of appeal for availing the benefit of remission on the occasion of 15th of August, 2023 (Independence Day).

The I.A. is considered and allowed.

Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed as withdrawn.
