This is a Contempt Petition arising out of order dated 20.06.2016 passed in W.P.No.10113/2016 (Annexure C/1) by which the respondents were directed Signature Not Verified Signed by: SAVITRI PATEL Signing time: 11/10/2022 12:49:42 PM

to take decision on petitioner's representation in the light of the judgment of Supreme Court in State of Punjab and Ors. vs. Rafiq Masih (White Washer) and ors. reported in (2015) 4 SCC 334.

Reply/compliance report has been filed by the respondents on 03.04.2017. Along with the reply/compliance report, a copy of order dated 30.03.2017 (Annexure R/1) has been produced on record. A perusal of the same reflect that the representation of the petitioner has been considered and turned down.

In view of the aforesaid compliance report filed by the respondents, as the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.10113/2016 is complied with, nothing

survives to be dealt with in the present contempt petition.

Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands disposed of. Rule Nisi is discharged.
