This Writ Petition is of the year 2008. Petitioners have approached this Court seeking relaxation of eight years' age in the matter of seeking permission to appear in the Civil Services Competitive Examination pursuant to the advertisement dated 18.08.2008 conducted by respondent No.2.

Over a period of 14 years has passed by and much water has flown under the bridge. By efflux of time, this writ petition has rendered infructuous.

Even otherwise in the light of judgment rendered by Hon'ble Apex Court in the matter of Sushma Suri Vs. Govt. of National Capital

Territory of Delhi and another reported in [(1999) 1 SCC 330] and by Division Bench of this Court in the case of Bindu Patel Vs. State of M.P. And Another reported in [2010(4) MPLJ 231], reliefs sought for also cannot be countenanced in the matter of relaxation.

In view of above, present petition stands dismissed as rendered infructuous.
