Heard on the question of admission.
Issue notice to the respondents on payment of PF within a week, failing
which this petition shall stand dismissed without reference to the Court.
Learned counsel for the petitioner pressed the interim prayer. It is submitted that both the petitioners are major and solemnized marriage on their own volition.
The duly solemnized marriage was duly registered also. However, certain family members are not happy and therefore, the petitioners are under threat. They may be protected.
In this backdrop, I deem it proper to permit the petitioners to file a representation seeking protection before the respondent nos.2 and 3.
In the event of any threat to the petitioners because of said marriage, it shall be the duty of police authority to provide adequate protection to the petitioners. Life, liberty and dignity of the petitioners should not be put to jeopardy by anyone because of the said marriage.
This order is passed by this Court is in view of the judgment of Hon'ble the Supreme Court in the case of Latasingh Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh reported in AIR 2006 SC 2522.
