        Application praying that in the circumstances stated in the
   affidavit filed therewith the High Court be pleased to condone the delay
   of 857 days in filing the appeal.
        This Application again coming on for orders on 17/10/2024 upon
   perusing the application, the affidavit filed in support thereof and this
   court's order dated 10/09/2024, and upon hearing the arguments of
   T.P.PRADEEP, Advocate for the applicants and of the Standing Counsel for
