                               JUDGMENT

Dated this the 8th day of November, 2024

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the

following prayers:

i. Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction, directing the 1st respondent R.D.O to consider the Ext.P1 application filed by the petitioner, within a shorter period of time, as fixed by this Hon'ble Court. ii. Pass such other writs, orders or directions as this Hon'ble Court may deems just, fit and necessary in the facts and circumstances of this case. And iii. allow this Writ petition with cost.

2. The Maintenance Tribunal, under the provisions of

the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior

Citizens Act, 2007, is required to dispose of the complaints

of parents or senior citizens expeditiously.

3. Therefore, the Tribunal constituted under the

provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and

Senior Citizens Act, 2007, at Muvattupuzha, is directed to

dispose of the complaint filed by the petitioner before the

Tribunal expeditiously, preferably within a period of three WP(C) NO. 39436 OF 2024

2024:KER:83621 months from today.

With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition

stands finally disposed of.
