                          JUDGMENT

The petitioner, was appointed as Music Teacher in the

school managed by the 5th respondent. The appointment was

made against a retirement vacancy of one Sri,T.V Rajagopalan

who was a Drawing Teacher. Ext.P1 is the appointment order

and along with the same, a request for conversion of the post of

Drawing Teacher into Music Teacher was made. However, the

same was rejected by the authorities concerned. Being

aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted Ext.P7 which is

now pending before the 1 st respondent. The limited prayer

sought by the petitioner is for direction to the 1 st respondent to

pass appropriate orders thereon within a time frame.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the

learned Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of

directing the 1st respondent to take up Ext.P7 and to pass

appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law, after hearing

the petitioner, the 5th respondent-Manager and any other

affected persons, if any. The orders in this regard shall be

passed within a period of four months from the date of receipt

of a copy of this judgment.
