THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON
12.06.2023, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
 WP(C) NO. 9044 OF 2023
                             2

                         JUDGMENT

The writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to

consider Ext.P1 application for granting of temporary

permit on the route Adoor-Punalur.

2. The petitioner's case is that he is the owner of a

stage carriage vehicle bearing registration No.KL 17/D

9857 and had applied for a temporary permit on the route

Adoor-Punalur in the vacancy of a defaulted stage

carriage bearing registration No. KL-02 Q 4344. Even

though the application was filed on 02.02.2023, the same

has not been considered. Hence, the writ petition.

3. Heard; Sri.O.D.Sivadas, the learned Counsel

appearing for the petitioner and Sri.Sreejith, the learned

Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. Sri.Sreejith, on instructions, submitted that the

petitioner has already been granted a temporary permit in

the vacancy of a defaulted stage carriage vehicle bearing

registration No. KL-02 Q 4344 on another route than what WP(C) NO. 9044 OF 2023

is prayed for in the writ petition. Therefore, the writ

petition has become infructuous.

5. Having considered the pleadings and materials on

record and taking note of the submission made by the

learned Government Pleader, I hold that the writ petition

has become infructuous.

Resultantly, the writ petition is dismissed as

infructuous.
