THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON
14.07.2023, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
 WP(C) NO. 23148 OF 2023
                                 -2-

                             JUDGMENT

The limited plea of the petitioner in this

case is that the second respondent be directed

to place his Ext.P2 application for variation

of permit, in the next meeting of the first

respondent, so that the said authority can take

a decision thereon as per law.

2. The afore request of the petitioner as

made by his learned counsel - Sri.I.Dinesh

Menon, was answered by the learned Government

Pleader, saying that he has no instruction

whether the 'Agenda' has already been drawn up;

but that if there is no legal impediment, then

appropriate steps will certainly be taken to

place Ext.P2 application in the next meeting of

the first respondent, so that it can then take a

decision.

In the afore circumstances, I allow this

writ petition and direct the second respondent WP(C) NO. 23148 OF 2023

to place Ext.P2 application of the petitioner

before the first respondent in the next meeting,

if there are no other legal impediments standing

in the way; with a consequential direction to

the said Authority to consider the same in terms

of law, following due procedure and after

affording necessary opportunities of being heard

to the petitioner, as also to any other person

who may be interested.
