W.P.(C) No.136 of 2023

Dated this the 11th day of January, 2023
JUDGMENT
Amidst the various allegations, averments and assertions
made and urged in this writ petition, the learned counsel for
the petitioners - Sri.O.V.Maniprasad, confined his plea that
competent among respondents 1 and 2 be directed to take up
Ext.P4 and dispose it of, within a time frame to be fixed by
this Court.
2. Sri.P.C.Sasidharan - learned Standing Counsel for
respondents 1 and 2, in response, submitted that if the
petitioners only require Ext.P4 to be taken up and disposed of
by the competent among respondents 1 and 2, there does not
appear to be any legal impediment in doing so; but prayed
that this Court may not make any affirmative declarations in
their favour and leave it to the said respondent to take an
appropriate decision thereon, as per law. WP(C)No. 136 of 2023
3. Taking note of the afore submissions, I direct
competent among respondents 1 and 2 to take up Ext.P4 and
dispose of the same, after affording the petitioners an
opportunity of being heard; thus culminating in an
appropriate order and necessary action thereon, as
expeditiously as is possible, but not later than one month from
the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
This writ petition is thus ordered.
