        Writ petition (civil) praying inter alia that in the circumstances
   stated in the affidavit filed along with the WP(C) the High Court be
   pleased to direct the 3rd respondent to treat petitioner as eligible to be
   considered to the post of Sub Inspector of Police on the strength of
   Exhibit P2 pending disposal of this Writ Petition (Civil).


        This petition coming on for admission upon perusing the petition and
   the affidavit filed in support of WP(C) and upon hearing the arguments of
   M/S.B.S.SWATHI KUMAR, HARISANKAR N. UNNI, & ANITHA RAVINDRAN, Advocates
   for the petitioner and of STANDING COUNSEL for R1 and R3, the court
   passed the following:

Learned Standing Counsel takes notice for R1 and R3. Urgent notice to R2.

In view of Exhibits P2 and P7, there will be a direction to the third respondent to provisionally consider the candidature of the petitioner, treating him as eligible for the selection of Sub Inspector, pending disposal of the Writ Petiton.
