        Writ petition (civil) praying inter alia that in the circumstances
   stated in the affidavit filed along with the WP(C) the High Court be
   pleased to direct the 4th respondent to treat petitioner as eligible to be
   considered to the post of Sub Inspector of Police on the strength of Exts
   P2 and P3 pending disposal of this Writ Petition (Civil).


        This petition coming on for admission upon perusing the petition and
   the affidavit filed in support of WP(C) and upon hearing the arguments of
   M/S. B.S.SWATHI KUMAR, HARISANKAR N UNNI & ANITHA RAVINDRAN, Advocates for
   the petitioner and of SRI.S.KRISHNAMOORTHY ,STANDING COUNSEL for R1,and
   STANDING COUNSEL for R3 & R4, the court passed the following:

                                          ORDER

Learned Standing Counsel takes notice for R1, R3 and R4. Urgent notice to R2.

In view of Exts. P2, P3 and P8, there will be a direction to the fourth respondent to provisionally consider the candidature of the petitioner, treating him as eligible for the selection of Sub Inspector, pending disposal of the writ petition.
