This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the

1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3

application submitted before the 1st respondent on 17.10.2019.

Ext.P3 is an application filed for changing the nature of the

land in the revenue records. The petitioner contends that the

lands in question are un-notified lands for the purpose of

Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wet Land Act, 2008.

Having regard to the fact that Ext.P3 application was filed

on 17.10.2019, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ

petition directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass final

orders on Ext.P3 application after affording an opportunity of

hearing to the petitioner, within a period of of two months from

the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment. I make

it clear that I have not expressed any opinion on the merits of

the matter and it is for the 1 st respondent to consider Ext.P3 in
