                             JUDGMENT

Dated this the 31st day of August, 2022

Petitioner is the Palliyoda Sevasangam, Aranmula

which is entrusted with the task of conducting the

'Aranmula Uthruttadi Snake Boat Race' every year.

The snake boat race for this year is scheduled to be

held on 11.09.2022. The petitioner has approached

the 2nd respondent seeking permission to use 'trumpet

horn speakers' in connection with the event.

2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted

that, permission is being granted by the 2 nd

respondent every year, based on the petitioner's

request.

3. Learned Government Pleader submitted that

the 2nd respondent can be directed to consider the

representation and to take appropriate decision.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of,

directing the 2nd respondent to consider Ext.P2

representation and take appropriate decision thereon WP(C) NO. 27797 OF 2022

expeditiously, and at any rate on or before

08.09.2022.
