          SRI. E.C. BINEESH - GP

THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON
24.09.2021, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
 WP(C) NO. 20013 OF 2021
                                      2

                              JUDGMENT

The petitioner alleges that he is being unnecessarily harassed

and intimidated by the respondent - Police Officers, thus forcing

him to execute cheques in favour of a person who has filed certain

cases against him and his wife. The petitioner says that the conduct

of the respondents are unbecoming of Police Officers and thus prays

that this Court direct them not to intervene in the disputes between

him and the aforementioned lady.

2. However, the learned Government Pleader,

Sri.E.C.Bineesh, submitted that the petitioner has approached this

Court suppressing various facts, including that he is the 2nd accused

in Crime No.85/2021 of the Perumpadappu Police Station. He

explained that various other accused are also arrayed in the said

Crime and that investigation into the same is still going on. He

added that the allegations, that the petitioner is being harassed by

the Police, is wholly untenable, because only valid investigation is

being carried on by the Officers.

Taking note of the afore submissions and recording them, I

close this writ petition, directing the petitioner to co-operate with WP(C) NO. 20013 OF 2021

the ongoing investigation; and further ordering respondents 1 and 2

to act strictly within the parameters of law while conducting

investigation against the petitioner.
