                            J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is the holder of a regular permit on

the route Areekode - Kozhikode - Kabanigiri via Mukkom.

Since the route distance exceed 140 kilometres, the

petitioner applied for curtailment and renewal of

permit. The same was granted as per Ext.P1 dated

12.04.2018. As per Ext.P3 dated 21.07.2021, a further

renewal of the permit was sought for, for a period of

five years. Along with the renewal application, the

petitioner also submitted Ext.P4 application for

replacement of the vehicle with a later model. An

application seeking condonation of delay in seeking for

renewal, was also submitted as Ext.P5. The petitioner

seeks for a direction for consideration of Exts.P3 to P5

applications.

2. Without expressing anything on the merits, the

writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents W. P. (C) No.16681 of 2021

to consider and pass orders on Exts.P3 to P5

applications afore referred to, as expeditiously as

possible and at any rate within a period of three months

from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
