                                 JUDGMENT

The above writ petition is filed with following prayers :

"(i) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction commanding the 2nd respondent to carry out the work of water connection to the house of the petitioner within a time limit.

(ii) To grant such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit just and proper in the facts of the case."

2. This matter was referred to the Lok Adalath and the

proceedings of the Lok Adalath dated 2.1.2014 is extracted

hereunder :

"Petitioner represented by counsel, Water Authority represented by counsel and nominee from the office present. It is reported by the parties present that connection has been given to the petitioner in the light of the Interim Order passed by the Hon'ble High Court and both sides want the matter to be posted to Court. Hence the case is sent back to Court."

3. Today, when the matter came up for consideration,

the Standing Counsel submitted that the water connection was

already given to the petitioner long back.

In the light of the above submission, this writ petition is

closed.
