This Petition having come up for orders on 05.10.2021, upon perusing
the letter dated 10.09.2021 from the Principal Munsiff, Cherthala and this
court's judgment dated 21.08.2020, the court on the same day passed the
following;

                                                                     (p.t.o)

                                  O.P(C) No. 1048 of 2020
                   .....................................................................
Dated this the 5th day of October, 2021

                                             ORDER

This is an application seeking extension of the time limit

for disposal of O.S No.247 of 2018 pending before the Principal

Munsiff's Court, Cherthala. By judgment dated 21.08.2020, this

court had directed the learned Munsiff to dispose the suit within

eight months of production of a copy of the judgment. The

period was thereafter extended by three months from

15.6.2021. The learned Munsiff has stated that the Advocate

Commissioner filed the report only on 9.9.2021 and the case

was adjourned to 14.09.2021. It is stated that due to the

inordinate delay in receiving the Commissioner's report, the

case could not be disposed of even within the extended time

limit. The learned Munsiff hence requests for extending the time

limit by a reasonable period.

Having considered the reasons stated, the time limit

stipulated by this court is extended by a further period of two

months from today.
