                                 JUDGMENT

Petitioner is the 6th accused in S.T. No. 71 of 2017, now pending

before the Grama Nyayalaya, Chadayamangalam. He along with other

accused persons face allegations under Sections 143, 147, 341, 294(b),

353 read with Section 149 of the IPC.

2. The petitioner has moved this Court seeking a direction to the

learned Presiding Officer, Nyayadhikari, to dispose of the case within a

time frame. At the time of admitting the Original Petition, a report was

called for from the Nyayadhikari, Gram Nyayalaya,

Chadayamangalam. Now the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kadakkal

who is in charge of the Nyayadhikari in the report dated 25.09.2021 has

stated that, she will take earnest efforts to dispose of the case and seeks

eight months' time for disposing the same.

3. It is only the reasonable time sought by the learned

Nyayadhikari and therefore she is directed to dispose of S.T.No. 71 of

2017 within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy

of this Judgment.

O.P. (Crl) is disposed of as above.
