                                   PRESENT
                     THE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE T.R.RAVI
           Friday, the 1st day of October 2021 / 9th Aswina, 1943

                IA.NO.1/2021 IN WP(C) NO. 10515 OF 2021(L)

APPLICANT/RESPONDENT IN WP(C)

THE SECRETARY, REGIONAL TRANSPORT AUTHORITY CUM REGIONAL TRANSPORT
OFFICER, KOZHIKODE CIVIL STATION P.O., KOZHIKODE- 673 020.

RESPONDENT/PETITIONER IN WP(C):

MANSOOR T.K., S/O. USSAIN HAJI, THUNNACHANKANDIYIL HOUSE, MADAVOOR,
     KOZHIKODE.

Application praying that in the circumstances stated in the
affidavit filed therewith the High Court be pleased to extend the time
limit for a further period of 4 months from 13-09-2021 to comply with the
directions in the judgment dated 11-05-2021 in W.P.(C) No. 10515/2021 in
the interest of justice.
This Application coming on for orders upon perusing the application
and the affidavit filed in support thereof, and this Court's judgment
dated 11-05-2021 and upon hearing the arguments of GOVERNMENT PLEADER for
the petitioner in IA/respondent in WP(C) and of M/S.M.VANAJA & P.ASHA,
Advocates for the respondent in IA/petitioner in WP(C), the court passed
the following:-

P.T.O.
                               T.R.RAVI, J.
                    ----------------------------------------
                        IA No.1 of 2021
                                 In
                  WP(C) No.10515 of 2021
                  -------------------------------------------
Dated this the 1st day of October, 2021

                              ORDER

IA.No.1/2021

The writ petition was disposed of directing the respondent

to consider Ext.P2 representation and pass orders on the same

after hearing the petitioner and other affected persons operating

in the route within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt

of a certified copy of the judgment. This application has been

filed with a delay of 29 days, praying for extension of the time

granted by this Court by a further period of four months from

13.09.2021. When this Court had granted only six weeks time

even at the time of disposal of the writ petition, it is uncharitable

on the part of the respondent in the writ petition to file a petition

seeking additional period of four months and that too from

13.09.2021. The writ petition was disposed of on 11.05.2021 and

four months time from 13.09.2021 would mean that the

respondent in the writ petition is seeking a total time of seven

months from the date of the judgment, in a case which is

disposed of granting six weeks time. Except giving the reason of IA No.1/2021 in WP(C)No.10515 of 2021

Covid-19 pandemic, no other reason is stated for seeking an extension

of time. I am not convinced with the reasons stated in the affidavit in

support of the application. However, as a last chance the respondent in

the writ petition is given three weeks time from today for complying

with the directions in the judgment. It is made clear that no further

extension will be granted.
