                                 JUDGMENT

Dated this the 7th day of May 2021 DEVAN RAMACHANDRAN, J

Though we do not find any reason to interfere with the judgment

assailed before us, we deem it appropriate to accept the request of the

petitioner, that the payment of Rs.1 lakh be reduced to Rs.50,000/-, as

ordered by the learned Single Judge.

2. The learned Standing Counsel of the Bank also does not

oppose this.

3. In the aforesaid circumstances, we allow this appeal, to the

limited extent of modifying the judgment of the learned Single Judge,

by reducing the amount of Rs.1 lakh to Rs.50,000/-, to be paid by the

petitioner/appellant, within a period of 7 days from the date of receipt

of a copy of this judgment.

In all other respects, the judgment of the learned Single Judge

will remain without change.
