                               JUDGMENT

Dated this the 18th day of March 2021

The prayer in this Original Petition is for a direction

to the Sessions Court (NDPS), Ernakulam to proceed with

the trial of the case arising out of Crime No.1785/2018 of

Fort Kochi Police Station, as expeditiously as possible. In

the report called for by this court, the learned Sessions

Judge has stated the case was taken on file as S.C.

No.808/2020 on 13.12.2020 and has been made over to

the VI Additional Sessions Court for trial and disposal.

In such circumstances, the grievance of the

petitioner is regarding the slow pace at which the case

was proceeding stands substantially allayed. Hence, the

Original Petition is closed, leaving open the petitioner's

liberty to raise his grievances, if any subsisting, before the

trial court.
