THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON

                                   JUDGMENT

This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:

(1) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to

publish the results of the IX and X Semester B.A, LL.B

(Five Year) Integrated Degree Course Examination,

immediately.

(2) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to

issue the corrected mark lists of Semesters I, IV and V of

the B.A, LL.B (Five Year) Integrated Degree Course

Examination and issue the other mark lists expeditiously.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the

learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent

University.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that

the petitioner had joined the B.A LL.B (Five Year) Integrated

Degree Course during the academic year 2015-16 at the

Government Law College, Ernakulam. The contention in this writ

petition was that the results of the IX and X Semester Examinations

had not been declared so far. There is a further contention that there

were certain corrections in the mark list of Semesters I, IV and V

and application for correction had been submitted by the petitioner

well in time. It is stated that the corrected mark list had not been

issued to the petitioner.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the University

submits that the results of Semesters IX and X of B.A LL.B (Five

Year) Integrated Degree Course has already been declared and that

the mark list will be issued without further delay. It is further

submitted that as regards the corrected mark lists of Semesters I, IV

and V as well the correction will be carried out without delay and

the mark lists as corrected will be issued to the petitioner.

Having considered the contentions advanced on either side,

this writ petition is disposed of recording the submissions made by

the learned Standing Counsel. The respondents shall take

appropriate steps to see that the corrected mark list of Semesters I,

IV and V of the B.A LL.B (Five Year) Integrated Degree Course

Examination taken by the petitioner will be issued to the petitioner

within two weeks. With regard to the mark lists for Semesters IX

and X, in case the petitioner makes a proper application for the

mark list, the same shall also be issued within the afore mentioned

period of two weeks.

This writ petition is ordered accordingly.
