THIS CONTEMPT OF COURT CASE (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR
ADMISSION ON 27.07.2021, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE
FOLLOWING:
CON.CASE(C) NO. 1107 OF 2020
-2-
JUDGMENT
This Contempt Case has been filed on the
allegation that the respondent has egregiously
violated the directions of this Court in the
judgment dated 20.12.2019 in W.P.(C)No.35176 of
2019.
2. When this matter was pending before
this Court, the learned Senior Government
Pleaded filed a memo dated 19.08.2020 producing
along with an order dated 26.08.2020, wherein,
the petitioner was directed to remit certain
amounts. This order was contested by the
petitioner as being improper and consequently I
directed the respondent to reconsider the
matter.
3. Today when this matter was called, the CON.CASE(C) NO. 1107 OF 2020
learned Senior Government Pleader submitted
that a memo, dated 22.07.2021, producing along
with it a new order dated 13.07.2021, has been
filed and submitted that this order is in
supersession of all the earlier ones.
4. On hearing the learned Senior
Government as afore, Sri.K.M.Sathynatha Menon
submitted that his client is not pressing this
Contempt Case for the time being; but prayed
that all remedies be left open to him, if so
required in future. He also prayed that the
respondent be directed to take steps to have
the Revenue records corrected in terms of the
new order.
In the afore circumstances, this Contempt
Case is closed; with a resultant direction to
the respondent to ensure that all necessary CON.CASE(C) NO. 1107 OF 2020
corrections are made in the Revenue records,
based on the new order dated 13.07.2021, within
a period of one month from the date of receipt
of a copy this judgment.
