                       JUDGMENT

Seeking grant of temporary licence for sale of

fire crackers, the petitioner has submitted Ext.P1 application before the first respondent in terms of

the Explosives Rules. The request is with a view to

effect sales during the upcoming Onam season.

2. Without expressing anything on merits, this

writ petition is disposed of directing the first

respondent to consider Ext.P1 application in

accordance with law and pass appropriate orders

thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any

rate within a period of two weeks from the date of

receipt of a copy of this judgment.
