                                JUDGMENT

Dated this the 8th day of January 2021

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking that

the respondents be directed to correct her date of birth

recorded in her Passport and to issue a fresh one, after

incorporating such corrections.

2. The learned Central Government Counsel,

Sri.Jayasankar Nair, appearing for the respondent, submitted

that the first respondent is willing to consider the petitioner's

application for correction of her date of birth in Ext.P1

Passport in tune with the date of birth entered in Ext.P7

Secondary School Leaving Certificate and that a fresh

Passport will be issued without any avoidable delay.

In the afore circumstances, I order this writ petition and

direct the first respondent to correct the date of birth in the

Passport of the petitioner in terms with the date of birth

entered in Ext.P7 Secondary School Leaving Certificate; and

to issue to her a fresh Passport as expeditiously as is possible,

but not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a

copy of this judgment.
