MFA.No.211 OF 2007

          A.MUHAMED MUSTAQUE & C.S.DIAS, JJ.
             ======================
                MFA(G&W)No. 211 of 2007
             ======================
          Dated this the 29th day of January, 2021.

                            JUDGMENT

C.S.DIAS , J.

The appellant was the petitioner in OP(G&W)

267/2005 of the Family Court, Thiruvalla. The

respondents in the appeal were the respondents in the

above original petition.

2. Being aggrieved by the judgment dated

13.7.2007 passed by the Family Court, dismissing the

petitioner's prayer for custody of his daughter Shalu

Mariam Shaji, the petitioner is before this Court in

appeal.

3. Admittedly, Shalu Mariam Shaji was born on

16.1.2003. Now, she has attained majority. Hence, the

quondam child is no longer governed by the provisions

of the Guardian and Wards Act, 1890. Therefore,

MFA.No.211 OF 2007

nothing further survives in the appeal.

Resultantly, the appeal is dismissed as infructuous

in view of the fact that Shalu Mariam Shaji has

attained majority. All pending Interlocutory

Applications are also dismissed.
