OTHER PRESENT:

               SRI. SUNIL KUMAR KURIAKOSE (GP)

THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING BEEN FINALLY HEARD ON
25.01.2021, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
 WP(C).No.2284 OF 2011 2

                                 JUDGMENT

The petitioner has filed this writ

petition as early as on 21/01/2011 seeking a

direction to the respondents to promote him

to the post of Junior Marketing Manager,

Grade M-7.

2. However, when this matter was

called today, the learned counsel appearing

for the respondents submitted that the

petitioner had been promoted as Railway

Liaison Officer, which is equivalent to M-7

Grade in the year 2012 itself and therefore,

that this writ petition has now become

infructuous.

3. I find some force in the

submissions of the respondents, since if the

petitioner has already been promoted to a

post which is equivalent to M-7 Grade, then

he cannot have any further grievance in this

writ petition.

In the afore circumstances, recording the

above submissions made on behalf of the

respondents, I close this writ petition without

any further orders.
