This original petition is filed seeking expeditious
disposal of I.A 3/2020 (Ext P4) filed in I.A 2/2020 in O.P
86/2020 of the Family Court, Irinjalakkuda.
2. As the direction is being issued only to the Family
Court for expeditious consideration of Ext P4, we have
dispensed with notice to the respondents.
3. Pursuant to the order dated 11.1.2021, the learned
Judge of the Family Court has by communication dated
14.1.2021 stated that she needs two months' time, i.e., up to
19.3.2021 to dispose of Ext P4.
4. Having perused the report of the learned Judge of
the Family Court, considered the pleadings and materials on
record and the submission made by the learned counsel

appearing for the petitioner, in exercise of the powers of this
Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, we
direct the Family Court, Irinjalakkuda to consider and
dispose of Ext P4, in accordance with law, as expeditiously
as possible, at any rate, on or before 19.3.2021.
5. The petitioner shall produce a copy of this
judgment before the Family Court, Irinjalakkuda, within a
week and also serve a copy of the judgment on the counsel
appearing for the opposite party before the court below.
The original petition is disposed of as above.
