Dated this the 18th day of January 2021

The Writ Petition is filed voicing the

grievance that in spite of Ext.P1

complaint, revealing cognizable offences

being filed, the police is not taking any

action to register crime and conduct

investigation.

2. Today, when the matter was taken

up for consideration, the learned Counsel

for the petitioner as well as the learned

Public Prosecutor submitted that, pending

the Writ Petition, crime No.31/2021 has

been registered at the Ernakulam Town

North Police Station for offences under

Sections 406, 420 and 120(B) of Indian

Penal Code.

W.P.(C).NO.8448 OF 2020

Therefore, nothing survives for

consideration in the Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.
