The respondent in O.P (G & W) No. 235/2002 of

the Court of the District Judge, Palakkad is the appellant.

The petitioner in the original petition is the respondent in

the appeal.

2. Being aggrieved by the order passed in O.P. (G

& W) No. 235/2002 by the District Judge, Palakkad in

granting custody of the child, namely, Thrishna to the

respondent, this appeal is filed.

3. Admittedly, Thrishna has now attained

majority. Therefore, she is no longer governed by the

provisions of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890. MFA.No.145 OF 2005

..3..

Therefore, nothing further survives in this appeal.

Resultantly, the appeal is dismissed as infructuous.

All pending Interlocutory Applications are also

closed.
