                             JUDGMENT

Going by the averments in the writ petition, the petitioner along

with Sri.Nizamudeen and Sri.Abdul Rehman are the auction purchasers

of a property having an extent of 35 Ares and 30 Sq. mtrs. of dry land

in Re.Sy.No.21/6 in Block No.14 of Panayam Village in Kollam Taluk,

covered by Ext.P1 sale certificate dated 30.11.2018 issued by the 4 th

respondent Bank. The petitioner has filed this writ petition under

Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus

commanding the 3rd respondent Village Officer to mutate the said

property purchased in auction and to receive the property tax [Sic:

land tax] from the petitioner. The petitioner has also sought for a writ

of mandamus commanding the 5th respondent Sub Registrar to remove

the adverse entries in the relevant registers regarding the revenue

recovery proceedings against the secured assets, subsequent to the

creation of the mortgage.

2. Today, when this case is taken up for admission, the

learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this

writ petition.

Recording the above submission made by the learned counsel for

the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
