                                 JUDGMENT

Dated this the 12th day of February 2021

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief:

issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P18 revision petition after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the

learned Government Pleader.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners

that against the order declining the approval of the petitioners'

appointments, the petitioners have moved Ext.P18 revision petition

before the Director of General Education. It is submitted that their

appointments had earlier been declined to be approved on the

ground that there was senior claimants, whose appointments have

not been approved. The petitioners submit that the appointments of

the senior claimants i.e, Saleena, Nousheeda and Areefa have been

approved by order dated 29.09.2018 and 29.09.2020. It is submitted

that Ext.P18 is liable to be considered in accordance with law. WP(C).No.3717 OF 2021(L)

Having heard the learned counsel on either side, there will be

a direction to the 1st respondent to take up, consider and pass

appropriate orders on Ext.P18 revision petition preferred by the

petitioners with notice to the petitioners as well as the 3 rd

respondent and after hearing them through any appropriate means

including through video conferencing. Orders shall be passed within

a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this

judgment. In case the petitioners appointments are approved, the

monetary benefits shall also be released within a period of three

months thereafter.

This writ petition is ordered accordingly.
