02 /05.02.2026: In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:

"For issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/direction(s) or a writ particular in the nature of Mandamus commanding upon the respondents specifically respondent nos. 3 and 4 to fix and pay the revised pension as per 7th Pay Commission Report since 2016 and arrear of revised pension with 12% interest thereon."

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that suffice it would be if a direction is given to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that if the petitioner files a detailed fresh representation before the respondent no. 3-the Deputy Commissioner, Latehar, his case will be considered.

4. Considering the submission of the parties, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 3- the Deputy Commissioner, Latehar who will consider the case of

the petitioner.

5. The representation should be filed within four weeks and the decision should be taken within six weeks thereafter.

6. If it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefits the same should be extended to the petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter. If the claim of the petitioner is rejected for any reasons whatsoever the reasons should be communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period.

7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
