02 /12.02.2026: Heard the learned counsel representing the petitioner and the learned counsel representing the respondents.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she being daughter-in- law is entitled to be appointed on compassionate ground in terms of Rule 6(2) of Jharkhand Aanganbari Sevika/Sahayika Chayan Awam Mandey (Anya Sarto Sahit) Niyamawali, 2022.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that her mother-in-law who was working as Anganbari Sevika died in harness. This petitioner being the daughter-in-law applied for compassionate appointment but the matter is still pending and yet to be decided. He submits that in terms of Rule 6(2) of Jharkhand Aanganbari Sevika/Sahayika Chayan Awam Mandey (Anya Sarto Sahit) Niyamawali, 2022, this petitioner is entitled to be appointed as she is a dependent of the deceased.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that if the petitioner files a fresh representation before the respondent no. 2-the Deputy Commissioner, Palamau, her case will be considered and appropriate order will be passed.

5. Considering the submission of the parties, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation within four weeks from today before the respondent no. 2-the Deputy Commissioner, Palamau, who is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in terms of Rules considering the applicability of the same so far as this petitioner is concerned.

6. The decision should be taken within a period of 10 weeks from the date of receipt of the representation along with the copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
