1. The learned counsel for the appellant has pointed out that this appeal has been preferred against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 27th November, 2024 and 30th November, 2024, respectively, in Special POCSO Case No.1/2022, arising out of Gola P.S. Case No.100 of 2021 passed by the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Ramgarh.

Further it has been submitted that after passing the judgment of conviction and order of sentence under which the maximum sentence awarded to the appellant was three years and hence, the learned trial Court after recording the judgment of conviction and order of sentence granted provisional bail to the appellant vide order dated 30.11.2024 for a period of 60 days which has already expired and therefore, it is submitted that the appellant may be allowed to take steps for the extension of the provisional bail granted earlier by the learned Trial Court.

Further, it has been pointed out that this appeal has been filed within stipulated period of 60 days for which the provisional bail was granted to the appellant and therefore, the learned trial Court will take into consideration while extending the provisional bail that this appeal was filed well within 60 days under which the provisional bail was granted and therefore, the appellant deserves to get the extension of provisional bail.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this appeal is adjourned to be listed on 07th April, 2025 for bringing on record fresh extension of provisional bail granted earlier by the learned Trial Court who will consider the submission of the learned defence counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant that this appeal was filed before this Court well within time of 60 days (sixty days) during the period the appellant was on provisional bail granted by learned trial Court.
