-----

04/25.10.2024 Heard Mr. Ranjan Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and

Mr. Anil Kumar, learned A.S.G.I. appearing for the CBI.

2. The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with R.C. Case

No.64(S) of 2017 EOW/Ranchi for the offence registered under Section

120(B), 409, 420 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of the

learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate-cum-Special J.M., C.B.I., Dhanbad.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the

petitioner has earlier moved before this Court in A.B.A. No.8801 of 2022,

which was dismissed on 23.11.2022. He submits that subsequently the co-

accused have been provided privilege of anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No.1646

of 2023 and A.B.A. No.6579 of 2023. He then submits that the allegations

are similar against this petitioner also. He submits that in view of the

judgments passed in Satender Kunar Antil v. CBI, reported in (2022)

10 SCC 51 and Aman Preet Singh v. CBI, reported in 2021 SCC

OnLine SC 941, subsequent orders have been passed and in view of that,

the same benefit may kindly be provided in favour of the petitioner.

4. Mr. Anil Kumar, learned A.S.G.I. appearing for the CBI submits that

earlier the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected,

however, he is not denying the fact that by the subsequent orders, other

accused have been provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

5. In view of the above and considering subsequent development with

regard to the grant of anticipatory bail to the co-accused in A.B.A. No.1646

of 2023 and 6579 of 2023, I am inclined to provide privilege of anticipatory

bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby

directed to surrender before the learned Court within four weeks from

today, and in the event of her surrender/arrest, she shall be released on bail

on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with

two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-

Divisional Judicial Magistrate-cum-Special J.M., C.B.I., Dhanbad in

connection with R.C. Case No.64(S) of 2017 EOW/Ranchi, subject to the

conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik

Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

6. Accordingly, this application is disposed of.
