This interlocutory application has been preferred by the respondent no. 2 as intervener.
It is noted that in the instant interlocutory application, the intervener prays before this Hon'ble Court for adding her as respondent no. 2 in the present criminal appeal as she happens to be the wife of the deceased informant-victim, namely Ghamari Yadav.
Learned counsel for the intervener has cited the judgment in Criminal Appeal No. 632 of 2022 (arising out of S.L.P (Cr.) No.2640 of 2022) decided on 18.04.2022 in Jagjeet Singh and Ors. Vs. Ashish Mishra and Ors.
In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the intervener as well as the judgment cited above, the intervener is allowed to be impleaded as respondent No.2 in this case.
Accordingly, the appellant is directed to implead the intervener as respondent no. 2 in this case during the course of the day.
The aforesaid I.A. stands allowed and disposed of. Put up this case on 07.02.2024.
