In spite of sufficient opportunity granted, in some of the matters a counter affidavit has not been placed on record. Mr. Ajit Kumar, learned senior counsel for petitioner(s) indicates that the respondents are required to file counter affidavit in each matter having regard to some facts which if not traversed shall bind them and the matter shall be covered by a judgment of the Division Bench of this Court.

Therefore, two weeks further time is granted to the respondents for filing counter affidavit in the remaining matters failing which a cost of Rs. 50,000/- in each case shall be imposed upon the JUVNL.

List these cases on 7th March 2024.
