2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that through this writ petition, the petitioners are seeking compensation on account of the fact that they were put in jail custody pursuant to an F.I.R. which was ultimately found to be a false one. He submits that the police authorities did not investigate the case properly due to which the petitioners had to remain in custody. He submits that he shall be citing certain judgments in support of his claim.

3. At the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, post this case tomorrow i.e., on 05.01.2023.
