Oral Order 14/Dated: 11.05.2022
These matters were heard at length and the judgment was
reserved on 23.12.2021. However, it is contended on behalf of the
petitioners that subsequently new rules came into existence and the
validity of the new rules are under challenge in W. P.(C) No.1852 of
2022 and W. P.(C) No.1919 of 2022.
Thus, it is contended at the Bar that these writ petitions have now
become infructuous as the rules under challenge is no more in existence
and therefore, its validity is not required to be tested.
In that background of the matter, the writ petitioners seek leave
to withdraw these writ petitions.
Accordingly, both the matters are dismissed as withdrawn having
become infructuous.
