04/23.08.2022 The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the

respondent No.2 to grant police protection to the petitioner as he has serious threat of

life, liberty and property, particularly in pursuance of judgment and decree dated

28.08.2017 & 29.08.2017 respectively passed by the Court of the Munsif, Latehar in

Title Suit No. 03/2011.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, in course of argument, submits that the

petitioner has already represented the respondent No.2 in this regard, however, no

decision has yet been taken on the same which has compelled him to prefer the

present writ petition.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view the nature of

the prayer made in the present writ petition, without entering into the merit of the

case, the petitioner is given liberty to prefer a fresh representation on the present issue

before the respondent No.2. On receipt of such representation, the respondent No.2,

after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and on making an enquiry in

this regard, if so required, shall take an appropriate informed decision within four

weeks from the date of filing of the said representation.

The present writ petition is accordingly disposed of with the aforesaid liberty

and direction.
