05/22.09.2021 Prayer for suspension of sentence made by the appellant husband through I.A. No. 6221 of 2020 has been pressed by learned counsel for the appellant Mr. Sanjay Kumar. It appears from perusal of para 3 of the impugned judgment that while filing charge-sheet against the appellant husband herein, investigation was kept pending against other accused persons who are the mother-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law (gotni).

Learned A.P.P. Mr. Abhay Kr. Tiwari seeks one week time to ascertain the status of the investigation kept pending against the other accused persons; whether they have been charge-sheeted, if so, what is the status of the trial.

Accordingly, let the matter be listed on next Thursday i.e., 30.09.2021.
